Calling all Capital Region Foodies!

June 8, 2010

I realize this post will be of limited appeal to those outside the greater Albany, NY area, but for those of you here, I think you’ll be interested.  I will be attending an event at the Dale Miller Restaurant on June 23rd.  Here is the description from the Albany-Colonie Chamber’s web site:

Does your busy lifestyle as a young professional often cause you to eat out, grab something quick on the way home or heat up a frozen dinner? Success in your professional life doesn’t have to lead to a disaster in the kitchen or unhealthy eating habits.

The GenNEXT Council invites all young professionals — even those that can’t tell a spatula from a whisk — to a special event at the Dale Miller Restaurant in downtown Albany.

The renowned chef Dale Miller demonstrates how to make healthy, delicious meals at home that are budget friendly and won’t take all night to create.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the country’s top chefs. Chef Miller CMC, AAC, WGMC is one of just 61 U.S. Certified Master Chefs and one of 300 Global Master Chefs in the world.

Following the demonstration, there will be time for networking with fellow young professionals. Light appetizers, including some of Dale’s creations, and a cash bar will be available.

The event is open to all young professionals in the Tech Valley Region.

For Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber and Schenectady County Chamber members, please visit www.acchamber.com/events to sign up. For non-members, please call (518) 431-1400.
